Coupons can add specific value to the purchase in the form of either a refill bundle or a discount.
The discount coupon can be applied during both the first purchase and any refill — the discount is applied during checkout.
The refill coupon (free data coupon) is different: it can only be applied after a user has purchased a line. This means the user must first buy any bundle (even the smallest one), and only then can the coupon be used to add free data to that line.
This rule exists for technical and financial reasons — if users could get data entirely for free without any initial purchase, most would never refill or convert, resulting in costs without revenue for the partner.
If the refill coupon is applied to all bundles or chosen bundles from both plans, the partner must separately choose the amount of data (for Lifetime Plan bundles) or the amount of data and quantity of days (for Travel Plan bundles). If the refill coupon is only applied to bundles from one plan, the partner needs to select the amount of data or the amount of data and quantity of days accordingly.
If a partner chooses to hide a bundle used as a free data bundle for a coupon, the coupon will become inactive and could not be used by the end user.
