Coupon codes can be set with a start and end date and are only valid during that time frame. The validity start date cannot be set before today's date, and the end date cannot be set before the start date. The validity start date can be set in the future. If no end date is entered, the coupon remains valid indefinitely. By default, the start date is set to today's date.
