What is a Free Trial?

The Free Trial feature enables partners to offer new users a complimentary eSIM bundle. Once activated, new users who have registered but never made a purchase before can claim the selected bundle at no cost.

How do I enable a Free Trial?

  • In your Inventory, switch on the Free Trial toggle for any refill.
  • There’s no need to set the retail price to $0; keep your regular retail pricing for future purchases.
  • Once enabled, a Free Trial badge will appear next to that bundle on your webstore and checkout pages.

How will the Free Trial look for my users?

Users will see:

  • Free Trial badge next to the eligible refill.
  • At checkout, the refill will be marked as Free.
  • They will still be asked to enter a payment card, but no charge will be made.

Why is a payment card required for the Free Trial?

  • A card is required for verification and to prevent fraud. The user’s card will not be charged.

  • Note: If a card has already been used to claim a free trial on another account, it cannot be reused.

How do Free Trials affect my partner account?

  • The line cost of the Free Trial is deducted from your partner balance.
  • Transactions are logged, and Free Trial usage by your users is tracked for reporting.

Can I disable Free Trials later?

Yes. You can turn off Free Trials at any time in your **Inventory**.
Once disabled, new users will no longer see or claim the free option.

Do I need to update anything on my webstore?

For webstore partners:

  • To properly reflect the free trial offer on your website, you may need to update the Search Bundle plugin to the latest version.
  • Go to: Integrations → WordPress Theme and Plugin → Search Bundle Plugin
  • Download the file and update it in WordPress via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Who is eligible for a Free Trial?

Only newly registered users who have never purchased from you before.
They must use a unique payment card that hasn’t been used to claim a Free Trial previously.
